Lazy mind is a dangerous place

Recently columnist Leonard Pitts Jr. took issue with Donald Trump’s false assessment that Oakland and Ferguson are among “the most dangerous places in the world” to visit.

In truth, the most hazardous and lethal “sites” to encounter are located in complacent human minds unwilling to seek and evaluate crucial information; choosing instead to acknowledge and embrace platitudes, narcissists, unsubstantiated “facts” and “groupthink.”

Philosopher René Descartes stated: “I think; therefore I am” as proof of existence; however; the question of “how” we sequence and refine thoughts within this brain/mind labyrinth remains an enigma; most apparent during our current presidential campaign.
