Clovis ‘immature idiots’ will be racists

Regarding the “Racism requires action in Clovis” Valley Voices commentary by June King and Jeanine Werner (June 2): It is unbelievable that racist attitudes like those exist in our community in this day and age. And that is why I don’t believe they do.

I shouldn’t be surprised at the gullibility of our citizenry, but I must admit, I continue to be amazed. Anyone who has ever been a high school student in the United States should know better than to discount the depths of depravity to which a couple of jaded 10th graders can sink.

I’m absolutely certain, that when the perpetrators are discovered, they’ll turn out to be immature idiots who thought this would be a hoot. Give me a break!
