Valley veterans deserve your help
We have the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our veterans. The Central Valley Honor Flight is in dire need of donations to fund two remaining flights scheduled for September and October of 2016.
This is our last chance to provide a World War II veteran the trip of a lifetime – to fly to Washington, D.C., to see the WWII exhibit and to experience a hero’s homecoming upon return to Fresno.
A decision to cancel the flights due to lack of funding will be made by June 7. We have one week to meet this goal. Please search your hearts and ask yourself, “What can I do to thank these men and women who unselfishly sacrificed so that we could enjoy the freedom that many take for granted?”
All donations are utilized to fund these flights. The cost is about $1,500 per veteran. These men and women deserve the best that we as Valley residents can offer. Every dollar counts! This program depends upon the generosity of the Valley residents and business owners.
Please do not disappoint the surviving members of the “Greatest Generation.” They deserve our absolute best!
