Take care of your yards, please
Why has water conservation in Fresno and Clovis so negatively impacted routine gardening maintenance? Since last year’s push to conserve water began, the activities of mowing, edging and weeding of lawns and flowerbeds have decreased in many neighborhoods.
Go outside and look at your yard. If your flowerbed needs weeding and your brown lawn needs edging, then make time to put in the work.
I have many relatives in the Las Cruces-El Paso area. By necessity, they have desert landscapes, but are neatly tended. It can be done.
