Liberals have gone too far
In regard to The Bee’s editorial of May 17 dealing with allowing transgender people into the opposite bathrooms and school showers. The editorial board said this is a civil rights issue. No, it isn’t.
Liberals have become very radical with their ideas of discrimination. They started off good and well-intentioned but over the decades, they have gone way over the line and are now in extremist territory.
Along with the idea that they know or feel better than the rest of us, they have the responsibility to force their ideas on the rest of us. In this situation, even though they are going against the natural feelings and social morals of modesty, privacy and decency, they blame those who feel this isn’t right.
As the president is doing, they want to punish those who disagree with them. They want to force people to feel like they do and allow a physical boy to take showers with girls just because he feels like he wants to.
They are running into more and more opposition as they get more extreme, forceful and governing against the Constitution. The opposition will continue to grow, which is good.
