Finally, a fresh political idea

Here’s a thought for all those running for political office. Don’t fill our mail boxes with fliers, folders, brochures or any other printed form of advertising. Most of it is either thrown away or put in the recycling bin, and I don’t even bother to read them.

However, if a postcard-size missive arrived with a notice that the political party or politician that sent it was donating campaign funds to a charity – Marjaree Mason Center, Poverello House, Fresno Bully Rescue, Cat House on the Kings, to name a few – I am sure that type of message would get my attention.

I know this is never going to happen but I can dream, can’t I?
