Inspired by neighbor’s water wisdom
As I watch from my porch, my 80-year-old neighbor waters her newly planted tomato and basil plants.
We smile and say good morning as she completes her daily watering ritual.
She doesn’t use the hose, which sits obsolete at the corner of the house. Instead she relies on her recycled household water that would have otherwise sadly found its way down the drain and into the sewers.
She saves the water and gives it back to her Earth garden.
I am inspired by this simple act and will follow her ways of water wisdom.
