We should grieve over bad news
Having just read The Bee of April 25, I was moved into a melancholy state of mind as I was taken from the delight of a spelling bee to the negative destruction of thousands of trees, the Chernobyl unending fire, the killings of incalculable Armenians, gender-open public restrooms and the closing of major stores.
From this I have concluded that if any of those depravities and negatives don’t cause us to grieve over whatever harmfully touches our lives, then maybe we haven’t yet reached that place where basic life principles of caring for others, along with any positive improvement for our world, really matters to us.
Once again, life teaches that every thought and action has its own conclusion, and it’s those of us who have a controlled wisdom, noticeable good morals and strength of mind who really do inherit the good earth.
