Don’t vote by gender, please
Are you serious, Billie MacDougall? I should vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a female? What happened to voting for the person who is most qualified? What about the person whose policies closely match yours? What about the person who actually has integrity (I know, hard to find).
You don’t vote for someone because of gender, race or because I like the haircut. I am all for having a female president, male president or a turkey president. Oh wait, we already have too many of those in Washington, D.C.
Get smart, Ms. MacDougall. It scares me to think that others might read your letter and believe that’s how we should vote.
