Not impressed by New York values

Donald Trump points to New York behavior, during and post 9/11, calling it “New York values,” as if no other American community would mirror it under similar circumstances. The propaganda is nauseating, as is his misogynistic view of women.

When I was on Navy leave back in the 1960s, I was amazed and shocked by the lack of humane street values and ordinary rudeness by most New Yorkers. They are oblivious to politeness and find it easy to insult one another. Now Trump pivots and channels this propensity into bigoted anti-Latino New York values.

So, this politically correct garbage that is clearly not true about “New York values” – which Trump notoriously brags about and paints with a broad brush – is in reality, a grossly distasteful and overrated New York culture.

So, hurray for Hillary Clinton, who spouts love, for winning four new states April 26.
