Measure H will keep hospital in Visalia
Most of us in the Visalia community can say their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were born at Kaweah Delta. Living in Visalia as long as my family has, I am among them.
I was impressed when I walked into the newer side of our hospital for the first time. The building’s entrance is on Acequia Avenue across from the parking structure. It’s bright and modern with big rooms that kept my daughter and grandchild comfortable as they welcomed visitors during a special time. Friends of mine have also gone to this side of the hospital for heart care and have had positive things to say.
This community supported the construction of Kaweah Delta’s new wing through Measure M. It was the first part of a bigger plan to comply with state earthquake standards. Now we’re called to support our hospital with Measure H. My vote is “yes.” Yours should be, too. We’ve all seen what Kaweah Delta can build with our help.
Don’t we all feel safe knowing state-of-the-art technology is in our community? Our “yes” votes will ensure that when we need a hospital bed, we’ll have one in our community, not someone else’s.
