Thanks for helping get our eagle back
We wish to thank the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office for having such outstanding deputies. Because of their dedication to duty, and the publicity generated by the news media, who were all so gracious, our eagle was returned.
The eagle was not just a cement statue, but a symbol of our country. It represents the freedom that our soldiers in the military, as well as our law enforcement, fight for in trying to keep our country safe for you and me. The outpouring of response from all of you good people has renewed our faith that we truly live in a great country and we must strive to keep it that way.
To the thieves that stole the 400-pound eagle after four tries, think how successful you would be if you had put all that energy into a job for the good of the community. May God have mercy on your soul because with this lifestyle, you’re going to need it.
A special thank you to the Pot Farm Backyard /Design Works, who donated a new eagle and their time to install it. Sadly, the one returned was damaged beyond repair. We cannot express our appreciation enough for the good people that volunteered so much for the symbol of our country.
