Clinton’s slogan rings hollow

I’m looking at a picture of Hillary Clinton, the every woman, standing at a podium behind a sign “Fighting For Us.” Well, that depends on what the meaning of the word “us” is.

When was the last time Hillary went shopping for groceries (photo ops don’t count)? Does she know how much her electrical bill is, or any household expense (no calling a friend allowed)? And she loves the convenient subway (once somebody shows her how to get through the turnstile).

She told us she was dead broke and in debt when the Clintons left the White House (did even the staunchest Democratic supporter believe that?). When was the last time she balanced her checkbook or worried if she could pay the rent?

By any measure. she hasn’t lived the life of “us” for a long, long time, if ever. So ask yourself, how does she know what to do for “us,” or how to fight for “us”? Or is it really about what she wants from “us”? When you vote, will you give her what she wants?
