‘Yes’ on Measure H will keep Visalians healthy
When your loved one is in pain and there’s nothing you can do but get him or her to the emergency department as fast as possible, you want that drive to be a short one. Years ago, when my husband had a kidney stone and was in severe agony, I got him in the car, and we only had to drive 10 minutes to get to Kaweah Delta.
That’s one of the reasons I’m voting “yes” on Measure H. I hope you will join me. A yes vote helps our hospital replace the beds that need to be there for us so that when we go to the emergency department and need to be hospitalized, we can stay in our community for care.
I’ve heard so many stories of people who have had to be transferred out of the area for treatment. What if you were hospitalized in Fresno for weeks or even a month? Would your loved ones be able to come and see you every day? Would your doctor be able to care for you? Vote yes on Measure H.
