As McCartney surely found, there’s much to love about Fresno

I went to the Paul McCartney concert. Itit was as fabulous as everyone is saying. But besides that, it was a turning point for Fresno. It wasn’t just a concert. Paul McCartney really seemed to love being in Fresno. We no longer have to keep that old inferior complex thinking that somehow Fresno is not as good as other cities in California.

Paul McCartney chose Fresno to debut his tour and no other city in California!

Thank you, Bee Editorial Board, for giving a thumbs down to concert reviewer Randy Lewis of the Los Angeles Times.

I have company here from San Diego. They noticed the home prices are better here than in San Diego. In today’s paper, I showed them articles about our Grizzlies, Yosemite (what other California city is so close to three national parks?) and so many other wonderful events happening in Fresno and Clovis.

I know Fresno has its problems, but I can’t help but think that the positive vibrations that Paul McCartney gave us will reverberate for a long time!

Linda Ferrari, Fresno
