Trump’s road to White House paved with rage

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” To me the Golden Rule means things like: If someone intentionally cuts you off on the highway, don’t stoop to their level and reciprocate. Don’t catch their road-rage disease.

It means: Don’t do bad things because “they made me do it.” Don’t imitate them. Don’t cede your power to them. Be who you are.

Donald Trump seems to believe in the “Fake Gold Rule”: “Do unto others as they do unto you.” He says things like: “He’s the one that started it.” He says “Nobody reads the Bible more than me,” but he believes in getting even.

On his path to the White House, Trump uses road rage because “They made me do it.” That’s who he is.
