Trump is dividing America

“Make America Great Again!” is the slogan Donald Trump stands by in his race for president. He is confident because he is a billionaire. What I see is someone who encourages discrimination and violence.

Supporters of Trump say that he “tells it like it is.” Truth is, people are drawn to the fact that his name represents wealth and success. They like that he is not just another politician.

He has shown prejudice against Mexicans, saying that they are criminals and rapists. His rallies have become violent and he seems to be fine with one of his supporters punching someone in the face, mentioning that he would consider paying the legal fees. Comments like these are disturbing and should not be made by a potential president.

I do not see that Trump wants to make America great. If anything, he is dividing America. We need to be aware of this and take this presidential election seriously. Our future depends on it.
