Tables turn on Fresno schools trustee

Well, well, well, again Brooke Ashjian, Fresno Unified School District trustee. Seems like he is ending up more in the press than he wanted to. It’s easy to be a critic when he has nothing to hide. Not so much when his own integrity is questioned.

Yeah, he didn’t know about his bid and as soon as he did know (read got caught) he pulled the bid. Nice. Of course, since he didn’t know (he had plausible reason to not know, he only owns the company) he is clearly innocent because ignorance is his excuse.

I’m sure if they looked through all of his emails and documents, he can produce one that directs his staff not to bid Fresno Unified. In order that he doesn’t miss a time line, perhaps he should start gathering them now.

So, in reference to his lofty perch as critic, to those he criticizes I offer this: “Be not dismayed by critics. In the history of the world, no statue was ever raised for a critic.”
