PG&E should skip ads and improve safety
I agree totally with Eileen Martin’s letter (Feb. 13), regarding PG&E wasting money. We have received so many brochures from them and seen multiple ads on TV and computer. All tell us what a good job they do, and how their employees love working there. They have no real competition, that I can see.
Our bills keep going up, but all I read and hear about, are gas leaks such as San Bruno. After the San Bruno explosion where a neighborhood was destroyed, and several lives were lost, PG&E wanted us, their customers, to pay the cost with even higher rates. Thank goodness, the Public Utilities Commission has turned them down, so far.
Instead of wasting money, why doesn’t PG&E do its job and use it where it will do the most good – improving infrastructure! Then we won’t have to worry about the next disaster, and when and where it will hit.
