Steinem, Albright insult women
Why do some public figures who have blazed trails and left great legacies, not content with their past accomplishments, but apparently missing the public accolades, now blow it all by insulting the public?
Gloria Steinem, who made such great strides for women; and Madeleine Albright in her esteemed cabinet post, now insult the same women who paved the way for them to aim for higher goals. Advising them that they should vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman is the same as telling African-Americans they should vote for Barack Obama because of similar racial background.
Bill Clinton’s caustic remarks aimed at Bernie Sanders, hoping to help Hillary, have already backfired. It suggests that she is unable to run on her own – but he is reminding us of the seamier stories from their Arkansas and Washington, D.C., administrations.
