Please remember this text

Once and for all everyone: The past tense of “text” is “text,” not “texted.”

I continue to hear people use that word.

You didn’t “texted” Sara yesterday. You “text” Sara yesterday.

Just like you didn’t “sented” a letter.

Telephoned? Emailed? Radioed? Messaged? OK.

Texted? No.
