Thankful for Clovis dress code
In response to Lois Henry’s article in the Feb. 4 Bee: As the proud mother of four Clovis High graduates, I was always thankful that the school reinforced my own dress code for my kids.
I wasn’t raising hippies or smart alecks. I was trying to raise people who were law-abiding, thoughtful citizens. Demanding a decent appearance and behavior from kids won’t kill them. It may even be the making of them. Be glad someone is helping your kids to realize that the big world expects more not less.
