Mayor ‘grandstanding’ on homeless efforts

I read with interest that our Mayor Ashley Swearengin was grandstanding on the final day of counting the functional homeless. “Functional” is an interesting term used by those who set a goal and, when they don’t reach it, just move the goal.

This has been done throughout the term of our current mayor and looks like it will continue until she lands a home in another political office somewhere.
