Fresno must address youth violence

I have seen fights first hand and many others on my child’s cell phone. I am outraged as to the quantity and violence of these fights.

I was threatened by two Bullard High School students last year. Of course, I got Fresno Police Department involved after the school did nothing, and they sided with the students.

I have lost faith in our police department also. This isn’t just a school issue, but a city issue. I could say much more, but will leave it at this. I agree with Catherine Amador (letter Jan. 29), until the real problems are addressed, nothing will change.
