Shame on The Bee for supporting PG&E

I don’t get it. PG&E has an entire army of attorneys at its disposal and it pays out millions of dollars for a slew of of lobbyists to promote its agenda. And on top of that, it has a very chummy relationship with members of the California Public Utilities Commission that gives PG&E pretty much everything it asks for.

But for some mysterious reason, The Fresno Bee Editorial Board, apparently, determined that wasn’t enough and decided to volunteer its time and space publishing an editorial in support of PG&E and against homeowners who install rooftop solar.

The Bee even went so far as to compare homeowners with solar panels to electric-car drivers who don’t pay gasoline taxes for road upkeep. What a stretch that was, comparing PG&E to government agencies responsible for keeping our roads safe to drive on.

I don’t mind paying taxes for road upkeep but PG&E already makes tons of money without me paying any more than I already do. The Fresno Bee and its editorial board should be ashamed of itself for publishing such biased nonsense.
