California brats roll us over the coals

The article in the Jan. 23 Bee about trash in the Sierra gives just a glimpse into what has become accepted behavior by those who choose to come to the mountains for their winter activities.

There is a mob mentality that has turned and can turn the four-lane highway into a dangerous illegal snow play/parking area at any time – and any turnout/private property above that is fair game for the mob also. This bad behavior also has spilled over to renters and even property owners in the area as these folks pursue their own satisfaction.

My observation from dealing with it is that it’s useless to get upset unless you want to be perpetually upset and if you say anything, well, you’re just a “hater.” What to do? Accept that California has turned a majority of its population both legal and illegal into narcissistic brats and make other plans while paying no attention to the stupidity and certainly not to take it personally. It’s a California thing.
