Carson, not Trump, has our vote
The contrast couldn’t be greater between GOP presidential candidates Dr. Ben Carson and Donald Trump. Carson has spent the last 30 years as a servant leader, seeking to heal and bring reconciliation through surgery and difficult discussions with patients, parents, and boards of directors. In contrast, Trump has bullied his way through business deals, real estate conglomerates, reality TV and has amassed a fortune in money and other worldly possessions.
These are pivotal days. They are reminiscent of what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. tried to prevail against – the tearing apart of our country by color, class and favoritism. We’ve made up our minds.
We want a man with faith and character and not a man with power and bullying. We want a president whose mind and heart are kind and just and honest. Carson just lost a young volunteer in an automobile accident, and revealed his heart: He stopped his campaign to mourn the loss. That is the kind of man who can withstand the tides of hatred lapping at our shores.
Dr. Ben Carson has our vote.
