Fresnans are the best, honestly

Fresno people are the kindest.

After making several stops for errands, I discovered my phone was missing while in Macy’s. I thought I had left it on the counter in the dress department, so I returned to that department and inquired if anyone had turned in a phone. No one had seen it.

A very sympathetic customer at the counter offered to accompany me to my car and call my phone to see if it had slipped under the seat of the car and would thus ring. When she called the number, someone answered.

She responded, “You have my friend’s phone.”

The voice replied, “Of course, I do; it belongs to my wife!” You can imagine the puzzlement.

Evidently, I had left the phone at Martin’s Flowers. The very kind people at Martin’s were able to see that a name on my “favorites list” had “husband” beside it and had contacted him. Thus, he had retrieved the phone.

I want to sincerely thank the people at Martin’s Flowers for being so very honest and returning my phone to me and to helpful Charlotte, a fellow shopper at Macy’s.
