Oregon takeover is being handled right
Bringing up racism when it comes to what is going on in Oregon is like comparing apples to oranges. The government is using good judgment (which I feel does not happen very often) in not forcing the protesters to leave – just like they did with Cliven Bundy in Nevada.
The government learned its lesson the hard way with Ruby Ridge, Idaho, where three people died, and Waco, Texas, where 86 people died. A good number of them were women and children.
The issue here is over land management by the Bureau of Land Management and the Fish and Wildlife Service. These are government entities that according to our Constitution can manage but not control our public lands. All the protesters are trying to do is bring this issue to the American people.
