Madera man helped us out

On Jan. 7, I purchased a small refrigerator at Costco on West Shaw Avenue and was sure the box would fit in the trunk of my car, but it did not.

A man with a pickup truck offered to deliver it to my home. He wanted to give me his driver’s license number as proof of his honesty. I told him that wasn’t necessary, but I did take his cell number in case we got separated along the way to my home. After we unloaded the refrigerator, I asked what I could do for him in return. He replied “nothing” and added that he was glad he could help.

Praise God for the kindness of a this man named Pete from Madera.
