‘Hero’ Simonian saves cats, antiques

During the holidays, I went with my out of town relatives to Simonian Farms, as I’d read about it for years but had never gone.

It was a fun experience as there is so much to see-in the produce market, a model train circles the track overhead and there are beautiful restored antique pedal cars and bicycles displayed on the walls.

The other building is filled with Americana from floor to ceiling. Nostalgia abounds.

I noticed several cats roaming the grounds and one sitting at the register. I asked the friendly cashier about them and she said that the owner traps, neuters and releases all the felines on his property.

I was so touched! This man is a silent hero!
