Fight for parks in southeast Fresno

I urge my Fresno City Councilmember Clint Olivier to keep the 49 acres in southeast Fresno, and keep the promise to build a park.

We need parks like Inspiration Park in south Fresno, so our children can have a better place to play. If the city gives up the 49 acres, it will further the disparity between park space in north and south Fresno. I support Parks4all because everyone should have access to a healthy park. We need to invest in the existing parks in our neighborhoods.

I want my neighborhood park to have clean playgrounds, open bathrooms, working water fountains, new basketball courts and a better place to take my children and grandchildren. We need to invest in our neighborhoods and parks in south Fresno to create One Healthy Fresno. Parks and green space help create healthy neighborhoods, and when our neighborhoods are healthy, it helps our children stay healthy.
