Take a lesson from Trump
When I first saw the entire Fresno deal of the Nordstrom contract in The Bee, I thought, how dumb to let your competitor know what you are offering. Sure enough, surprise, the Visalia City Council took immediate action to make a better offer.
I’ll bet Donald Trump would never let his competitors know what kind of deal he is making, nor would any Fresno contractor make a bid open to his competitors. I hope the council has learned a good lesson in negotiations.
