Vote for peaceful politicians for change

Merry Christmas?

Those who understand the true meaning of the wise man’s statements from 2,000 years ago know that wish means: Love is not giving into fear.

From Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Israel/Palestine, we have seen the consequences of governing from militaristic fear: endless war and eroded democracy in the U.S. When people kill innocent people, that creates fear in all survivors.

The wealthiest Americans benefit from taxpayers’ support of the largest military organization in the history of the world. The petroleum industries’ largest buyer is the U.S. Department of Defense and that makes the Koch brothers the biggest corporate welfare beneficiaries in the world. When they attack Social Security and Medicare as big government, they attempt to divert attention away from their government income.

“Look over there,” they say as their corporate-state terrorism encourages the eventual vengeful terrorist delivery of a stolen Soviet nuclear device to be shipped to the U.S.

Corporate socialists manipulate fear about terrorism by blaming others. After a terrorist attack corporate politicians divert our attention away from their trouble-making responsibilities into a re-channeled climate of patriotism. “Bad guys are over there.”

We can enjoy Christmas peace every day by voting for peace politicians.
