Mixed message from Democrats

I read the article about Valley Democrats with great interest.

I had the (mis)fortune of meeting Gov. Jerry Brown this summer.

He said to me, “You look like a Republican.” When I told him I was a registered Democrat, he asked me where I was from, and I told him.

He scoffed “A Fresno Democrat is the same as a Republican.” And they wonder why they can’t win here. Message received, governor.
