Stars: Be seen and not heard

Is it too much to ask that popular culture celebrities keep their political, sociological and religious beliefs and opinions to themselves?

I don’t mind that entertainers who seek office in the Screen Actors Guild etc., becoming active in politics. Nor do I find offensive their participation lending their time, talent and treasure to social causes they find important. I certainly don’t mind them being involved in their spiritual journey.

What I do find objectionable is their ill-informed pontificating and preaching. As one memorable entertainer once sang: “...a little less conversation and a little more action.”
