Muslims should lead way to peace

Donald Trump’s statement saying all Muslims should be barred from entry into the U.S. until a solution is found sounds harsh. But it has invoked a serious, pressured thought.

Sit back and think how powerful the Muslim community really is. The 99 percent majority who might have a solution, who are on the world’s side, is very capable and powerful.

In other words, the Muslim community could resolve and contain the 1 percent radicals, if they were so inclined. They surely would be a key in reducing violent and unwanted behavior that the majority of Muslims worldwide would want.

The U.S. and all other countries can’t do it unless the Muslim community takes a lead. Most members of Muslims don’t support the family members with violent tendencies. And most Muslims are faithful to values for others just as they are faithful to their own values.

The idea Trump opened up might be a catalyst and the beginning to find new solutions to further reduce and protect all societies.

At times, thinking outside the box could lead to solutions.
