Overnight turkey makes fragrant holiday morning
Every Thanksgiving, I buy a turkey to cook for my family. What a great joy it is for me to share this special day with my family.
I place the turkey in my electric oven and let it cook overnight. I wake up very early to the aroma of turkey throughout the house.
Our special day has just begun as we all adjust and get in place to play our roles in this day of Thanksgiving.
I love waking up first. As I’m preparing the turkey and getting ready to present it, I watch as each family member walks very sleepily through the kitchen: my wife, Janice, my son, Alexander, and my daughter Catherine.
What a great way to start a very special day. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Be thankful for all our blessings and share our blessings with others.
