Breaking tradition was our big mistake
Thanksgiving is a huge tradition with my parents. There is lots of family and great food. My mother went all out for this holiday. S
She passed suddenly and the first Thanksgiving after her passing, my immediate family decided not to stay home. We went to the coast. Not doing it at Pop’s and Nana’s.
What a mistake! The restaurant we went to put us in a large banquet room downstairs with no windows and a room full of strangers!
My sisters, dad and I were in tears. We never did that again.
Stick to tradition, be with loved ones and Happy Thanksgiving!
