Why don’t migrant men protect their homelands?

Regarding your opinion about refugees coming to the United States (Nov. 15), only if it can be done in an economical fashion. I see no way that the country can insure the refugees are benign, and we certainly can’t afford police to monitor the movement or the activity of them when they are allowed admission.

I watch the news, and it appears that the majority of migrants are young, strong-appearing males. Why? Perhaps the migrants should follow Col. Nathan Jessup’s advice and “Pick up a weapon and stand a post.” Protect your homeland.
