America casts ‘horrific’ image
Who a person listens to and receives counsel from either will prosper or condemn them. “The Lord of the Rings” portrays a character named Wormtongue, an agent of evil who infiltrates a country and eventually controls the king, Theoden. The mighty king is reduced to a puppet being led by pure evil. The kingdom is thrown into darkness.
America is that kingdom. Not only has our leadership been decimated, but our citizens are following like a herd of cattle stampeding toward the abyss. Our counselors are altogether useless, ineffective, cowardly and wicked. Citizens are a mirror for its leaders, and we cast a horrific image that is no longer America.
In America, we get what we vote for and what we deserve. Americans voted for incredible evil and we are reaping the ashes of the fallout.
Look around. Nothing resembles America anymore. We are pagan because we embrace paganism. We are a post-Christian nation that lives on past greatness. The light that shines is dim and flickering. It’s a depressing glow.
King Theoden was released by the control of Wormtongue by good men who confronted him and cast out the evil. Where are those good men today?
