No apology needed for mayor’s employee incentives
An apology letter from the mayor for paying bonuses and deferred compensation to key staff members is ridiculous. We should be pleased when action is taken by our mayor to make sure valuable employees don’t leave for greener pastures.
Other cities would love to snatch Renena Smith, Bruce Rudd or Jerry Dyer away from us and we need to keep them in Fresno. People should be thrilled that there is even enough money to pay them after the way our economy has been.
I applaud the mayor for these payments.
