When did it become OK or the norm to have patients waiting for two or more hours to see the doctor?
I wonder what other “profession” is allowed to be so disrespectful to the people they serve? I have been a school administrator for over 18 years, and I do my very best not to keep students, parents or my colleagues waiting. I further do my best to honor others and their time by showing up to meetings when they begin.
The last three times I have been to the doctor, I waited at least two hours from the time I arrived to the moment I left. And I had an appointment! The doctor comes in and says, “I’m sorry for the delay.”
Really? How about honoring my time, and don’t keep me waiting!
