I called 535 members of Congress with a solution to gun violence

I have been a hunter for over 60 years and own many types of legal guns.

My simple solution to this national problem is to require all 50 states to initiate complete background checks and a 15-day waiting period (cooling-off period) on all gun purchases. This in no way infringes on anyone’s right to own a firearm – only those who cannot complete this process and could be a possible threat to themselves or others.

I have called all 535 voting members of Congress and gave them my suggestion.
