Dental Clinic helps her face the world again

I would like to thank the people responsible for the Dental Care Clinic that took place this weekend at the downtown Fresno Convention Center.

I lost six of my front teeth to an abusive relationship and the rest to lack of proper care and not visiting a dentist once a year. I cannot begin to describe how it feels to look in the mirror and see yourself as ugly, or how terrible it is to not be able to smile. I have had to live with that feeling every day for the last two years.

The dental event was a blessing in every way. It was the single most positive experience I have ever had with any agency or group ever. The event was well run, the people running it were kind, compassionate, professional and helpful in every way.

This event changed my life and my outlook for the future, I can never repay them for giving me back my smile and the feeling of hope and happiness that is attached to being able to face the world again.
