Police ignore invasion of motorcycle gangs in Fresno

Surely everyone is now aware of our bi-annual invasion of the motorcycle gangs has now occurred. How we could miss groups of 20 or more Harley riders racing all over Fresno?

I first became aware that our invasion would be late last week when groups of 40 or more riders were speeding recklessly up Highway 99 at speeds in excess of 80 mph plus. So, where was the California Highway Patrol?

Over the weekend, and into the early morning hours, we could hear packs of bikers racing all over Fresno. At the motels they took over, not only were there the obnoxious sounds of Harleys, but also gunshots. The gunfire was very common.

Throughout Fresno, anyone could watch these bikers racing up and down the streets, ignoring all the traffic laws. So where was Fresno Police Department? Who knows?

Thank God they are now gone for at least for a few more months. But they will return, along with the anarchy they bring. Sadly, Fresno Police Department is impotent. Our city was invaded, and each year the numbers grow.

Thank you Fresno Police Department. School zones are much safer, obviously.
