Pope quiz: Please pray for our drought-plagued state
Poverty and income disparity are great concerns for the pope. These are noble and righteous attributions that are present in every country in the world. They have existed even before Jesus Christ.
My question to the pope would be: To announce to the world that repressive government dictatorial control is partly the fault of poverty and income disparity and should be avoided.
Under such a system, the poor get poorer and it prevents businesses from accumulating surplus capital needed for investment and production. Government meddling in the private sector only hinders the growth of a nation. Employment stops and money does not circulate. This system also creates recessions.
I would also add to this question to the pope: a prayer blessing for our state which is suffering from the worst drought ever.
