Bulldogs faded logo needs upgrade
Who could forget the initiation of the artificial turf at the Bulldogs home opener when Derek Carr launched a bomb down the right sideline to a streaking Jalen Saunders for an opening play touchdown? Since then, the turf has notably faded after four years of exposure to the Valley sun. That’s to be expected and thus acceptable.
But what about the Bulldog logo fading into the turf like some ghost from the past? It stood in stark contrast to the two newly painted Mountain West logos. That’s not to be expected and thus unacceptable. Amidst all the talk about upgrading the stadium, how can something this basic be ignored?
