Fresno airport gets high praise for breastfeeding space

Kudos to the Fresno Yosemite International Airport for taking steps to become breastfeeding friendly!

At First 5 Fresno County, we focus on the first five years of life, so we celebrate when the community takes steps to support families with young children. We are proud of the airport’s efforts to provide a comfortable space for women to breastfeed and pump. What a great way to support moms who choose to breastfeed!

Research shows breastfed babies are sick less often and less likely to develop illnesses like asthma, diabetes and obesity. We hope others in the community will take note and provide a comfortable breastfeeding space for moms in Fresno County.
