Find common ground on abortion issue

I know we disagree on the abortion issue, as evidenced by what was printed in the Sept. 14 editorial “Hysteria around Planned Parenthood fuels crusade.”

I ask that you, as an editorial board of mindful, thinking persons, actually watch each of the exposé videos. Please don’t parrot or print what the Associated Press or someone else says or writes. Do your own work like you were trained to do.

I have faith that you are extremely capable of forming your own opinions. The Center for Medical Progress was doing investigative journalism, and I believe that they uncovered something repulsive and ugly that most people, even if they call themselves pro-choice, would in no way support. As compassionate, thoughtful humans, there is some common ground that we could find on this issue.

I beg to differ that the “violence was no surprise.” I am shocked because truly pro-life people are anti-violence, and do not condone any criminal response or action like the arson you reported, that is the work of a criminal. We are just normal people that want to help women and men in crisis pregnancy situations to make the choice for life.
